Galina Rymbu
ist Lyrikerin, Kritikerin, Übersetzerin, Herausgeberin, Feministin und Linksanarchistin. Sie studierte Literarisches Schreiben am Gorki-Institut in Moskau und Politische Philosophie in Sankt Petersburg. 2018 emigrierte sie in die Ukraine. Sie gibt das feministische Online-Journal «Ф-письмо» (syg.ma/f-writing) heraus und leitet das literarische Projekt «ГРЁЗА» (greza.space). Ihre Gedichte sind in zwölf Sprachen übersetzt und in zahlreichen internationalen Publikationen veröffentlicht.

Tongo Eisen-Martin
ist Lyriker, Graswurzelaktivist und Pädagoge aus San Francisco. Sein Unterrichtsmaterial zu außergerichtlichen Hinrichtungen Schwarzer Menschen „We Charge Genocide Again“ kam vielerorts in den USA als Lehrmittel und Grundlage für politische Kampagnen zum Einsatz. Sein Gedichtband Someone’s Dead Already wurde für den California Book Award nominiert und sein jüngster Band Heaven Is All Goodbyes, von City Lights in der Pocket Poets Series veröffenlicht, war für den Griffins Poetry Prize nominiert und gewann den California Book Award sowie den American Book Award. 2020 erschien Waiting Behind Tornados For Food bei Materials (GB). Sein neuester Band Blood on the Fog soll im Herbst 2021 ebenfalls in der City Lights Pocket Poets Series erscheinen. Er ist der achte Poet Laureate von San Francisco.
is originally from San Francisco and is a poet, movement worker, and educator. His latest curriculum on extrajudicial killing of Black people, We Charge Genocide Again, has been used as an educational and organizing tool throughout the US. His book Someone’s Dead Already was nominated for a California Book Award. His latest book, Heaven Is All Goodbyes, was published by the City Lights Pocket Poets series, was shortlisted for the Griffins Poetry Prize, and won a California Book Award and an American Book Award. His forthcoming book Blood On The Fog is being released this fall in the City Lights Pocket Poets series. He is San Francisco’s eighth poet laureate.
